Open to boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 17 years of age and all athletic abilities.
Boys compete against boys in their age group, girls compete against girls in their age group, and all race heats are seeded according to relative ability, so every athlete has the opportunity for a well balanced competitive experience.

Registration for each athlete requires written parent or guardian consent, medical waiver (certifying that the athlete is medically fit to participate), and a copy of birth certificate or passport.
