Our Mission

For over 47 years the Chatsworth Chiefs Track & Field program has provided a safe, competitive environment for our community’s young athletes. Chiefs Track and Cross Country provides a program that encourages and develops discipline, fitness, good sportsmanship, responsible behavior, and a strong sense of personal pride and satisfaction.

The Chiefs’ experienced coaching staff is committed to teaching the fundamentals of Track & Field in a positive, supportive and most importantly, fun environment. Track meet competitions are held on a weekly basis between the conference’s six member clubs, culminating in Junior Varsity Finals, Varsity Finals and the Co-Conference Championships at the season’s end.

Our program has turned out some outstanding youth athletes along the way that have gone on to excel at the high school and college level.  Equally important is the personal victories that most of our athletes achieve week after week, year after year.

Our Conference

The Chiefs are part of the Southern California Youth Track and Field Conference (SCYTFC). The SCYTFC is a non-profit organization comprised of 6 competing clubs.  For more information about our conference please visit our conference website.
